AC Milan senior advisor, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, refused to comment on whether the club made a last-minute attempt to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

Osimhen recently joined Turkish Super Lig champions, Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.

Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli and Chelsea were the clubs better known in the days leading up to the transfer deadline day in the race to sign the Nigeria international.

Italian news outlet, AS Tuttosport, reported of a possible attempt by AC Milan to sign the powerful striker.

When he was asked on the matter, Ibrahimovic responded, ”I won’t comment” accompanied with a sly half smile.

Osimhen made his debut for Galatasaray in the 5-0 rout of Caykur Rizespor last weekend.
