TV presenter and dancer Shiksa Arora is officially a landlady.
She made the announcement on Monday, October 19, through an Instagram video that showed her receiving the keys to a brand-new apartment and stepping inside for the very first time.
The clip captured a jubilant Shiksa being handed the keys before swinging open the door and welcoming the camera into her new space.
“Welcome home,” she said, guiding viewers through the unfurnished living room, which featured warm wooden-style flooring and a floor-to-ceiling sliding door that flooded the room with natural light.
The door opened onto a small balcony, and Shiksa was clearly taken by the outlook.
“Look at the view,” she said, panning the camera to reveal a surrounding cluster of apartment buildings and a swimming pool below.
She also signed paperwork with the realtors on camera.
In the caption accompanying the post, Shiksa confirmed that the unit is a two-bedroom apartment situated in Limuru, and she wasted no time revealing her next move as a property owner.
“I made a big girl purchase guys! Meet the newest apartment owner in town. A little reminder that the dreams we whisper to ourselves can become our reality… I am definitely about to be the coolest landlady. If you’re looking to rent a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in Limuru, DM me,” she wrote.
The property investment is the latest in a string of notable milestones for Shiksa.
Back in April, she celebrated acquiring her first German car, a 2019 BMW X3 she named Blue, estimated to cost around KSh 5 million.
The apartment announcement quickly drew a warm response from her followers, with many celebrating the achievement alongside her.
