Siaya: Man Killed In An Accident Along Bondo-Kisumu Road

A 34-year-old motorist has died following a road accident in Siaya County.

Police said the accident happened near Akala dispensary along the Bondo-Kisumu road on Tuesday night.

Siaya County Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo said John Mark Ochieng’ died after his vehicle, a Toyota Porte, rolled severally.

“The deceased was on his way from Bondo towards Kisumu general direction. Upon reaching at the scene of the accident, he lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road before rolling severally,” Kimaiyo told Citizen Digital.

The driver died on the spot owing to serious deep cut injuries that he sustained on his head.

Officers from Bondo cleared the scene before moving the body to Bondo Sub County Hospital morgue.

“The extensively damaged motor vehicle was towed to Bondo police station,” Kimaiyo added.
