SMS Code Through Which Candidates Can Get Results :2023 KCPE Results

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) announced the release of an SMS code for accessing Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results .

Candidates can retrieve their results by sending an SMS containing their index number to 40054; the SMS costs KSh 25.

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu is poised to unveil the results for the 1,415,315 candidates who took the KCPE exams ON THURSDAYS.

Nairobi – The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has released the SMS Code through which the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates can get their results.

To access a candidate’s results, send an SMS with his or her index number to 40054. Every SMS will cost KSh 25. This year’s KCPE was the last of its kind as the curtains closed on the 8-4-4 curriculum after 38 years.

This now sets the stage for the full implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum. Earlier this week, Machogu announced that the early release of the results will pave the way for the Form One placement exercise. The process is expected to be completed before Christmas.

He said the early release of the results and completion of the placement exercise will give parents enough time to prepare their children for secondary school in January 2024.
