Kenya’s online community is in mourning after viral TikToker Patrick Mbacio was found dead at his home in Nakuru in circumstances that have left followers shocked and heartbroken.
According to reports, Mbacio had not been seen by those around him for the better part of two days before concerned neighbours decided to act. The last confirmed sighting of the popular content creator was during a live event he hosted approximately two days prior to the discovery.
Neighbours raise alarm after days of silence
When Mbacio failed to appear or respond for an extended period, one of his neighbours raised the alarm. A group then forced entry into his home, where they found him dead. The exact cause of his death has not been confirmed in the reports that have emerged so far.
A video circulating on TikTok, posted in the immediate aftermath of the news breaking, captured the sombre mood surrounding the discovery.
The clip, shared in a breaking-news format, described the sequence of events leading up to when his body was found.
