Speaker Wetangula Begins 3-Day Official Visit In Algiers

The Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang’ula has arrived in Algiers, Algeria where he is expected to conduct a three-day official visit.

Wetangula will hold engagements with his host, the President of the National People’s Assembly Ibrahim Boughali on exploring ways of enhancing parliamentary diplomacy among members of the two countries.

He will hold bilateral discussions with various sectorial heads on the pharmaceutical industry, agricultural matters, energy, and petroleum.

The Speaker will also discuss trade and investment promotion, Higher education among other possible areas of collaboration between Kenya and Algeria.

Cabinet Affairs Principal Secretary Julius Korir and Kenya Ambassador to Algeria Peter Katana Angore are among officials representing the Executive on the tour.

MPs Daniel Nanok Daniel, Marwa Maisori Kitayama, Nelson Wamboka, Suleka Hulbale, Zaheer Jhanda, ZamZam Mohammed, and Abdi Ali Abdi accompanied the Speaker on the trip.
