‎Kenyan musician Stivo Simple Boy has gone to great lengths to silence his critics, walking into a medical laboratory to have his spermatozoa tested after netizens publicly questioned whether he was capable of fathering a child.

‎The visit to Microafia Healthcare was filmed and shared online, showing the singer going through a full junk analysis conducted by Dr Ngumba Peter at the clinic’s facility in Zambezi Building, K&K Place.

‎What triggered Stivo Simple Boy’s fertility test

‎The controversy stems from a painful chapter in Stivo’s personal life. His former girlfriend Brenda confirmed that he was not the biological father of her son after DNA results ruled him out entirely.

‎The revelation left many Kenyans talking, and a section of social media users began questioning whether the singer could conceive at all, prompting him to take the matter into his own hands.

‎What the doctor found during the analysis

‎In the video, Dr Ngumba walked viewers through the entire process in a calm, educational tone. He explained that for an accurate junk analysis, a man must abstain from his specimen for between three and seven days before the test.

‎The doctor placed a drop of Stivo’s sample onto a slide, positioned it on the microscope stage, and focused the lens to examine what was there.

‎The procedure assessed several key parameters: spermatozoa motility (how the spermatozoa move), progression (whether they move forward effectively), concentration (how many there are), viability, and morphology, which looks at whether each spermatozoa has a healthy head, neck, and tail.

‎After examining the sample, Dr Ngumba shared his initial findings. “It’s quite a lot,” he said, noting that the concentration was encouraging.

‎He did flag that the quantity was the one area to pay attention to, but concluded that Stivo’s spermatozoa showed the characteristics needed to fertilise an egg.

‎”A guy can fertilise,” the doctor said plainly, adding that a specimen analysis is the only reliable way to determine whether a man is capable of impregnating a woman.

‎Dr Ngumba used the moment to encourage other men to get tested, stating that abstaining for at least three days before visiting the clinic is all that is required to prepare.
