Businessman Kennedy Rapudo has reacted to his wife, Faith Makau alias Amber Ray,’s body transformation after she travelled to Turkey for cosmetic surgery.
Rapudo and Amber Ray on Monday, September 21, 2026, were engaged in a light-hearted conversation about the results of her procedures, with the influencer asking whether he could now see a difference.
“You were saying you did not see any need of me going to do the surgery, hadi sahi bado hauoni? Hauoni any difference?” Amber Ray asked Rapudo.
The question came after Rapudo had previously expressed doubts about Amber’s decision to undergo cosmetic procedures, saying she was already beautiful and questioning why she needed to enhance her appearance.
“You look beautiful; the shape is there, but let me answer later on. Let me answer that question after 3 months or 6 months,” Rapudo responded.
His response appeared to leave room for him to assess the results over time as Amber continues with her recovery.
Amber Ray’s Turkey transformation
Amber travelled to Turkey in September for a series of cosmetic procedures, which she has been documenting on social media.
She previously revealed that her initial plan involved breast implants and Lipo 360. She later agreed to an additional fat-transfer procedure to her calves after her doctor suggested it.
“Go yes… boobs, Lipo 360, and calves,” Amber stated when listing the procedures she opted for.
The influencer also underwent dental work during the trip, revealing that she had 21 teeth done at approximately Ksh44,000 each.
“Well, 1 tooth is around 44k, and I’m doing 21 teeth,” she said.
The dental work was estimated at about Ksh924,000, bringing the cost close to Ksh1 million.
Rapudo on the surgery
Before seeing the results, Rapudo had questioned why Amber needed to undergo cosmetic procedures, maintaining that she was already beautiful.
“You find there uko. Mina mawuliza, what are you going to do there? Si enhance… you’re already beautiful,” Rapudo said during an earlier conversation involving Amber and Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o.
Amber jokingly suggested that the men might eventually appreciate the results.
“Maybe ujafria but Umefria. All of you. All of you. All of you,” she said.
Rapudo, however, maintained that he had not yet seen the results at the time.
“Sijafria, bado. Sijatoa bado,” he responded.
Now, after seeing Amber’s transformed body, Rapudo has acknowledged that “the shape is there” but said he would give a more definitive response after three or six months.
