A Kenyan TikToker known as Arnold Malcom, popularly known as Machaji na Manyonyois, took to social media on September 11, 2026, to set the record straight after comedian Jaymoh Decin publicly called him out for failing to post about his event.
Malcom filmed the now-viral clip from inside what appears to be a truck cabin, speaking directly into the camera in a frank, slightly exasperated tone.
A caption reading “Mimi sio Celebrity” remained on screen throughout the entire video.
TikToker Malcom insists he is not an influencer
In the selfie-style video, Malcom was clear that nobody should hold him to any kind of posting obligation. He explained that he joined social media purely for personal enjoyment, not to build a brand or serve an audience.
“Mimi si influencer apana. Mimi si content creator. Mimi si celebrity,” he said, rattling off a list of labels he refused to accept.
He went on to describe his posting habits as completely random: politics one day, a dog that fell off a building the next, chickens fighting after that.
According to Malcom, he has no niche and no agenda. He also admitted that on certain days he does not post at all, simply because nothing caught his attention.
Malcom did acknowledge that if he happens to post something, it is only because it genuinely appealed to him.
He also addressed the pressure of follower numbers, saying he once stumbled into easy numbers and warned people not to read too much into that.
“Usi expect anything from me. Ukitaka support, support ni sawa, support ni fiti, lakini usi expect that,” he added, making it clear that any support he offers is voluntary, never transactional.
