Nigerian midfielder, Lucky Efe has joined Norwegian club, Lillestrom on a five-year contract, DAILY POST reports.

Efe impressed during his trial at one of Norway’s most successful clubs.

The 18-year-old was scouted by Lillestrom during a local tournament in Nigeria last summer.

“I am so happy to be able to sign a contract with such a good team.

“This is the start of my career and I will be a good player here,” he told the club’s official website.

Sporting director, Simon Mesfin also reacted to the move, saying: “We also feel lucky.

“He has done a very good test game together with the other two.

“We feel that we have hit well on these youngsters together with our scouts and agent, Atta Aneke.

“Efe Lucky strikes me as a combination of Bonke Innocent and Ifeanyi Mathew.”
