Tuko Kadi founder Allans Ademba has put Lang’ata MP Jalang’o on the spot, leaking a direct message conversation between the two on Instagram alongside a pointed caption questioning the MP’s use of public funds and commitment to his constituents.

The post, shared on 16 October 2026, came after Ademba spotted Jalang’o behind the wheel of what he described as a new multi-million-shilling car.

Rather than let the sighting pass, he used it as a launching pad to highlight what he says are serious healthcare failures in the constituency.

Lang’ata sub-county hospital under fire

In his Instagram caption, Ademba painted a grim picture of health services in Mugumoini Ward.

He alleged that Lang’ata Sub-County Hospital closes its doors at 6 PM due to a lack of night shift staff, even as its gate signage states the facility operates 24 hours.

He further claimed that patients are routinely redirected to private pharmacies because essential medicines are simply not available at the public facility.

According to Ademba, residents say this situation has been ongoing since January 2026, meaning pregnant women seeking emergency maternity care at night have reportedly been turned away from a hospital that is supposed to be open.

“Lang’ata Sub-County Hospital reportedly shuts at 6 PM because there are no staff for the night shift, despite its gate indicating 24-hour services. Patients are also reportedly sent to private pharmacies because essential medicines are unavailable,” he wrote.

Ademba calls out Jalang’o’s senate ambitions

The Tuko Kadi founder directed his message squarely at the MP, linking the reported healthcare gaps to Jalang’o’s reported ambitions to move to the Senate.

His caption read:

“Jalang’o, before setting your sights on the Senate, what is happening to the people of Lang’ata who need basic healthcare NOW? Constituents need answers, not just representation on paper.”

The contrast Ademba drew between the new car and a pregnant woman being turned away from a closed hospital in the dead of night gave the post an emotional charge that clearly resonated online.

The video accompanying the post was filmed from what appears to be a motorcycle moving along a busy multi-lane highway, with a screenshot of the DM conversation overlaid on the footage.

The informal, layered presentation gave the post a raw, street-level feel that contrasted sharply with the serious allegations being made.
