Two men were on Thursday arrested by police in Masinga, Machakos County on suspicion of being thugs.
The pair, who had prison uniforms, handcuffs, a baton and numerous SIM and ATM cards in their possession, were apprehended at Milaani Shopping Centre during the near-midnight incident.
The duo are suspected to be behind a string of armed robberies in the area where approximately Ksh.200,000 was stolen from a catholic mission by suspects clad in police attire a fortnight ago.
