Former Manchester United and Arsenal star, Henrikh Mkhitaryan has hailed Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku, saying that the Belgian is capable of doing miracles.
This was after the Belgium international scored the only goal to help Inter Milan defeat Porto 1-0 in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash.
Lukaku is on loan at Inter Milan from Chelsea and was made to sit on the bench for the game against Porto over fitness issues. He came off the bench to net an 84th-minute winner for the Italians on Wednesday night.
And his Inter Milan teammate, Mkhitaryan hailed the Belgium international for his impact in what was a crucial goal for Inter.
“He [Lukaku] is proving now that he is capable of miracles. We hope he can stay fit, because he is a fundamental player for us, whether he starts or comes off the bench,” he told reporters after the game.
Lukaku has scored four goals in 14 games for Inter this season and the Serie A side are hoping to keep him at the club with a meeting with Chelsea planned to discuss his future.
