Arsenal legend, Ian Wright, has claimed that the team need the ‘X-factor’ that Paris Saint Germain’s Vitinha and Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City have, to see off Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final.

The Gunners are out of the competition, following a 3-2 aggregate defeat to the German side.

Joshua Kimmich scored the decisive goal at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday, after the first leg ended 2-2 at the Emirates.

Speaking on the Wrighty’s House podcast, Wright said: “A player like Vitinha at Paris Saint-Germain. You know when you watch a team and you think: ‘You know something? He might do something’

“The first half [Odegaard produced] against Villa was one of the best performances I’ve seen from him for a long time and he’s been playing very well this season. I’m talking about someone with that bit of X-factor that we need. We’ve got a load of good players.”
