Liverpool are top of the Champions League table after Match Week 4, thanks to a 4-0 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday.

The result means the Reds have won all four fixtures so far and are yet to concede a single goal.

Arne Slot’s men are also the only team with maximum points so far.

Sporting Lisbon thrashed Manchester City 4-1 and are in second position, tied on 10 points with Monaco, Brest and Inter Milan.

Real Madrid are in 18th place after a shock 3-1 defeat at home to AC Milan, while PSG are 25th following a last-gasp loss to Atletico Madrid.

After each club has played eight matches, the top eight move into the last 16 and those ranked between ninth and 24th go to the play-offs trying to join them.
