Grief has engulfed Ondeyo village in Vihiga County after Mzee Albert Moore Andambi died just minutes after his family buried his son, Lawrence Kasivwa Andambi, in a heartbreaking double tragedy.
The family had gathered to lay Lawrence to rest, but what should have been a day of mourning and bidding farewell to their loved one turned into an even more painful experience when Mzee Andambi also passed away on the same day.
How Mzee Andambi Died
According to Presenter Olive Keverenge, the patriarch died shortly after his son’s burial, leaving relatives facing the devastating loss of two family members within a very short period.
Mzee Andambi was the husband of Mama Magret Muhonja, popularly known as Mama District at Elongo PAG Church.
His death has compounded the family’s grief as relatives and loved ones now mourn both father and son.
For the family, the pain of burying Lawrence was followed almost immediately by the loss of his father, making an already difficult day even more heartbreaking.
