Kenyan content creator and livestreamer Vindee has opened up about how he met his German girlfriend while streaming, revealing that their relationship began with a simple request for directions.
Speaking during an interview on Monday, October 19, 2026, Vindee said he was livestreaming when he encountered his now-girlfriend, who was walking when he approached her for help.
He explained that her kindness caught his attention and made him consider pursuing a relationship with her.
“I met with my girlfriend while I was streaming. She was walking, then I started talking to her asking for directions, and she was good to me, and I thought maybe I should give it a try,” he said.
How their relationship started
Vindee said the encounter happened while he was streaming, meaning his followers were watching as he interacted with her. Because he was focused on his livestream and had a large audience following his content, the two did not have much time to talk during their first meeting.
Instead, he gave her his Instagram handle and asked her to send him a message so they could continue communicating after their encounter.
“Since I was streaming at that time and people follow me so much on my streams, we didn’t talk much; I just told her to send me a message, since I gave her my Instagram handle,” he explained.
The initial interaction eventually developed into a relationship, which Vindee has since shared with his social media followers.
Vindee says his girlfriend has introduced him to her parents
The content creator also spoke about the trust he has in his girlfriend, saying he does not worry about infidelity when he stays at her place. He attributed his confidence to the commitment he believes exists in their relationship and noted that her parents are also aware of him.
“Even when I stay at her place, I don’t stress myself about her cheating, and still her parents know me. My girlfriend introduced me to her parents,” he said.
Vindee also mentioned that his girlfriend is 19 years old, a detail that has drawn attention as he shares more about their relationship. He went on to make a general observation about German women and commitment, saying he believes that when they choose a partner, they remain committed to that person.
