Brian Chira’s cause of death has been revealed to the public by his close friend and fellow TikToker, Baba Talisha.

In a video on his TikTok, Baba Talisha revealed that the pathologist’s findings pointed to severe internal injuries as the cause of Chira’s untimely demise.

According to Baba Talisha, Chira suffered ruptures in his heart, lungs and kidneys, which proved fatal.

These grim details emerged after a post-mortem examination at the City Mortuary, where Chira’s body was first taken before being transferred to the Kenyatta University Hospital Mortuary.

“Chira died from multiple organ injuries and blunt force trauma,” Baba Talisha said solemnly.

He then urged Kenyans to desist from spreading false information about the circumstances of the TikToker’s death.

“It was a road accident. The things I have seen on social media, I have left everything to God,” he added.

Amidst the grief and shock of Chira’s death, Baba Talisha implored the public to show respect and sensitivity at this difficult time for the bereaved family.

“I am disappointed with those who are spreading lies at a time when the family is still mourning Chira,” he lamented, stressing the injustice of spreading unverified reports.

While acknowledging the outpouring of support from well-wishers, Baba Talisha stressed the importance of refraining from amplifying falsehoods, especially on social media platforms such as TikTok.

“You have helped them, but stop dragging this story that much especially here on TikTok,” he urged.

Brian Chira was laid to rest on his grandmother’s ancestral land in Gitei village, Gathanje, Kiambu County.

The burial ceremony drew a crowd of prominent figures from the content creating community.

Chira’s funeral was attended by politicians including Mumias East MP Peter Salasya, musicians Otile Brown, Justina Syokau, TikTokers: Baba Talisha, Tizian Savage, Prince Mwiti, Manzi wa Mombasa, Lupita Nyakisum, Jude Magambo, Hanna Benta and others.

Following his death, the TikTok community rallied together and raised over Sh10 million to support Chira’s grandmother, part of which will be used to buy land and build her a house, fulfilling Chira’s wish to have a comfortable home.
