Zimbabwean businessman and socialite Wicknell Chivayo has gifted his second therapist, Cathy, a brand-new Mercedes-Benz C200 together with US$10,000 (about Ksh1.3 million) in cash in another extravagant gesture that has left the recipient overwhelmed.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, September 6, 2026, Chivayo shared details of the lavish gift as he celebrated Cathy.
Cathy appeared overwhelmed by the surprise, struggling to contain her excitement as she reacted to the gesture and expressed how deeply it had touched her.
“Oh my gosh, this means a lot to me,” Cathy said.

The gift also comes against the backdrop of Chivayo’s high-profile friendship with President William Ruto, with the Zimbabwean businessman having developed a particularly close relationship with the Kenyan Head of State.
Chivayo recently revealed one of his most unusual encounters with Ruto after attending the traditional engagement celebration of the President’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, in Narok.
In an X post on Monday, August 10, 2026, Chivayo recalled how Ruto personally drove him to the helipad where he had left his helicopter after the ceremony.
The businessman said he had initially thought Charlene’s engagement celebration was already the highlight of his day before receiving the unexpected gesture from Ruto as he prepared to leave.
Chivayo said he sat in the front passenger seat while his wife occupied the back seat, with Ruto personally behind the steering wheel during the approximately three-kilometre journey.
“Imagine me sitting in the front passenger seat with my wife at the back while the President of the Republic of Kenya, the Head of State himself, was behind the steering wheel personally driving me to the chopper,” Chivayo wrote.
The experience left him overwhelmed, with Chivayo describing the short journey as one of the most memorable experiences of his life.
“I sat there overwhelmed with joy, thinking, ‘God, what kind of grace is this?’” he wrote.
He said that although he had enjoyed an opulent lifestyle and experienced numerous exceptional moments, being personally driven by a sitting President was something he had never experienced before.
“I have lived large and had many different and exceptionally beautiful experiences in my opulent lifestyle, but certainly this was a first,” Chivayo wrote.
He further described the three-kilometre drive as one of the most priceless journeys of his life.
“Those three kilometres alone will forever remain one of the most priceless journeys of my life,” he said.
Chivayo also attributed the extraordinary experience to what he described as the grace and favour of God, while making a striking reference to his own status.
“Now I believe royal blood indeed flows through my veins, but above everything, it is the grace and favour of God that continues to carry me further,” he wrote.
