The number of gifts Wicknell Chivayo gave out in 2026 covered an unusually wide range, from luxury vehicles and smartphones to substantial cash packages and humanitarian pledges.
His beneficiaries included prominent religious figures, lawyers, musicians, comedians, church workers and members of his family.

1. Chivayo Gifted 12 Church Members
In September 2026, Chivayo announced a reward package targeting 12 long-serving church workers who serve behind the scenes.
Ten church ushers each received a Toyota Fortuner 2.4 GD-6 plus millions for fuel, while two church leaders got 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 ZX vehicles.
The recipients were selected by the United Family International Church (UFIC) founders Emmanuel Makandiwa and his wife Ruth.
2. Chivayo Bought Range Rover for Lawyer
On Monday, September 21, Chivayo publicly announced a jaw-dropping gift package for prominent lawyer Advocate Lewis Uriri SC.
The lavish tribute included a 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography valued at KSh 32,362,500 and KSh 6,472,500 in cash for fuel.
Uriri’s wife also promised a KSh 6,472,500 handbag allowance, with Chivayo crediting her legal input in the couple’s work together.
However, Uriri and his wife later declined the gifts because they felt it could compromise their professional independence and integrity.
3. Other Car Gifts
Bishop Nehemiah Mutendi was announced as the recipient of a 2026 Rolls-Royce Cullinan alongside KSh 32 million in cash.
Chivayo also announced a 2026 Rolls-Royce Ghost for the wife of preacher Uebert Angel, while Angel was promised KSh 32 million, described as birthday lunch money.
Musician Jah Prayzah was gifted a fully paid-for Ford Ranger Platinum and KSh 32 million in cash, adding another entertainer to the growing list of beneficiaries of Chivayo’s generosity.
Another lawyer, Wilson Tatenda Manase, was offered a 2026 Lexus GX 550 and US$250,000.
Advocate Sylvester Hashiti was announced as the recipient of a 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography and US$500,000 in cash.
Chivayo’s therapist Cathy was also among the beneficiaries, receiving a new Mercedes-Benz C200 and US$10,000.
The businessman shared the gift as another example of his appreciation for people in his personal circle. Comedian Stephen Chizema, popularly known as Kitso, received a Toyota Aqua and US$10,000 after creating a skit connected to the Lewis Uriri gift saga.
4. Millions of Dollars in Humanitarian
Aid In another major pledge, Chivayo announced US$2 million for 40 families of fallen national heroes.
The arrangement worked out to US$50,000 per family, putting the total value of the announcement into the millions of dollars.
In another major announcement, Chivayo pledged US$1 million towards efforts to repatriate Zimbabweans stranded in South Africa.
Unlike the individual luxury gifts, the pledge was directed towards a wider humanitarian cause.
5. iPhone 18 Pro Max
Phones In another post on Instagram, Chivayo also announced that his children and 13 of their friends had received the latest iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max is Apple’s latest flagship device, and buying 15 or more units in a single move is the kind of spending that only a handful of people can pull off without blinking.
The post quickly drew attention online, with many pointing to Chivayo’s well-known pattern of extravagant public spending.
