Veteran Kenyan media personality Willy M Tuva has left fans talking after sharing a reflective TikTok video of himself driving through England, in which he revealed that his personal Mercedes Benz appeared in both a famous Ramogi Radio advert and in musician Dufla Diligon’s hit song Yes You Do.

‎The selfie-style video, filmed inside a moving car on November 4, 2026, shows an upbeat Tuva soaking in the experience of driving in England, an experience he described as a childhood dream finally realised.

From watching others drive to owning a Mercedes

‎Tuva opened up about his humble beginnings with cars, explaining that he taught himself to drive by watching others handle the wheel while he was an employee.

‎He admitted he essentially snuck in driving practice using a work vehicle, since he had no formal way to learn at the time.

‎His first real milestone came when a job gave him the financial footing to purchase his first car, a Toyota.

‎From there, things only moved forward. He went on to buy his dream car, a Mercedes-Benz, which he described as a truly special machine.

What made the revelation even more striking was his disclosure that the very Mercedes-Benz he owned appeared in a well-known Ramogi Radio television advert, and later featured in Dufla Diligon’s popular music video Yes You Do.

‎Tuva claims he mentored Dufla Diligon

Beyond the car story, Tuva made a bold claim about his relationship with the celebrated Kenyan musician. He said he was the one who discovered Dufla Diligon and played a central role in shaping his rise to stardom.

‎”Dufla ni msani ambaye mimi mwenyewe I discovered him. Nurtured him. Mentored him to the superstar he is,” Tuva said in the video.

The video blends the present-day driving footage with split-screen glimpses of old photos and music video clips, giving the whole piece a nostalgic, reflective feel.

‎Tuva used the moment to encourage his followers to hold onto their dreams, however distant they might seem.

“Waamini ndoto lako. Sio gope. Moja itatemia,” he said, urging viewers to believe in their dreams and not be afraid, assuring them that one day, those dreams will be fulfilled.
