WPL wrap: Day 1 victory predicted by Vihiga and Kenya Police

Kenya Police Bullets began their FKF Women’s Premier League title defence with an impressive 3-0 victory over KISPED at the Police Sacco Stadium. Lydia Akoth opened the scoring in the 39th minute, with Rebecca Okwaro adding two more in the second half, scoring in the 51st and 61st minutes to secure the win.

At Moi Stadium in Kisumu, Vihiga Queens managed a narrow 1-0 victory over Ulinzi Starlets. Providence Mukalo scored the decisive goal in the 89th minute, securing three points for Vihiga Queens in a tightly contested match.

In Bungoma, Kibera Soccer Women defeated Bungoma Queens 2-0. Nyakoa Amina gave Kibera an early lead in the 10th minute, and Anna Arusi added a second in stoppage time.

At the RVIST Grounds in Nakuru, Trinity Starlets eased to a 3-0 win over Bunyore Starlets, rounding out a dominant performance.
