YouTuber and social commentator Andrew Kibe sparked controversy after alleging that Comedian YY’s daughter resembles comedian Eddi Butita.
Kibe on YouTube shared the video from YY’s IG and analyzed the resemblance.
In his commentary, Kibe says “YY amechezwa na Butita” and he insists.
In YYs video, his daughter is seen playing with Butita’s phone before it suddenly drops to the floor.
The two look over the table to see what damage has been done, and it is at this point that Kibe insists there is a striking resemblance.
“Wee oya mtoto wako amevunja simu” Butita informs YY.
YY hurries over to check out if the claims are true asking Butita why he gave the child his phone. “Wewe ndio ulimpea simu?” YY suggests that Butitia should try and reach an agreement with the daughter about repairing the phone.
“Msikizane tuu, ni mtoi fiti sana, ni mtoi mnaweza reson na yeye, sio kama wa kitambo”
Kibe plays this video and launches into an analysis where he alleges YY has been played.
“You are not the father,” Kibe says about his apparent DNA analysis.
YY responded;
“We cannot be mad and triggered by jokes….Kibe is doing what he knows best which is to entertain…Even in my jokes, I offend others and make others laugh…let’s enjoy and move….Kibe anafanya tu kazi yake”:
