Zari Hassan is convinced that the women her sons eventually settle down with are in for a treat, and she has the receipts to back it up.
The Ugandan socialite and businesswoman took to Instagram on Thursday, September 24 to share a selfie-style video filmed from inside a car, where she opened up about the kind of men she believes her boys are growing up to be.

In the video, Zari reflected on the small but meaningful habits her sons have developed.
She pointed to the fact that they never let her birthdays or Mother’s Day pass without making her feel celebrated as proof that they will carry those same values into their own relationships one day.
“Things that my sons are going to do for their future wives or their wives, right? They remember birthdays. They remember Mother’s Day. If they are not going to remember those days in your life, chances are they’re not going to do this for their wives,” she said.
Zari acknowledged that her journey raising her boys has not been without its challenges. She noted that they have grown up largely without their father present, but said that has only made her more intentional about the lessons she passes on to them.
“I am so proud of my sons, guys. I know. I know. They’re not growing up with the father and all of that. But you know what? I’m proud of the small things that I’m doing. Or the little that I’m instilling in them. Values,” she said.
Her message was clear: raising emotionally present and thoughtful men starts with training them early, and she believes she is doing exactly that.
