Zari Hassan turned heads before the night was even over at her 46th birthday celebration on Wednesday, September 23, when she publicly called out guests who showed up in casual clothes and had security remove them from the party.
The Ugandan businesswoman and socialite hosted what appeared to be an upscale evening event, complete with elegant lighting, a chandelier, and a striking champagne tower display.

Midway through the event, Zari grabbed the microphone and addressed those who had arrived in jeans and T-shirts, making it clear they did not meet her standards for the evening.
“Jeans and t-shirts, sorry, you’re not my type. Security, please do your job. Thank you very much,” she said, directing her security team to lead the offending guests out.
Video footage of the incident quickly went viral, with viewers split on whether Zari was right to enforce her rules so publicly.
