Kenyan rappers Zzero Sufuri and Toxic Lyrikali have released the official music video for their collaboration Otero, giving fans a visual version of the song, which celebrates people who keep pushing through difficult moments in life.
The official music video was released on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, on Zzero Sufuri’s YouTube channel. It comes about a month after the audio version of the song was released on September 9, 2026.
How ‘Otero’ came together
Zzero previously shared how the song developed from an idea into a studio recording, revealing that it started during a visit to Toxic’s place on October 23, 2025.
In a post shared on Thursday, September 17, 2026, the musician recalled playing Toxic the idea he had for the song, saying his fellow artist immediately connected with its sound and energy.
“During a visit to Toxic’s place, I played him the idea for ‘Otero,’” Zzero said.

He added that Toxic liked what he heard, prompting the two to head to the studio and work on the song. “That moment led us straight to the studio, where we brought the idea to life, recorded by producer Ares himself,” he said.
The collaboration shows how a simple exchange between musicians can develop into a complete musical project.
A song about overcoming struggles
Beyond the collaboration, Otero carries a message about perseverance and the challenges people face away from the public eye.
The song’s description presents it as a tribute to single mothers raising children alone, young people dealing with unemployment, and people who have overcome illness.
It also speaks to the struggles that others may not see, encouraging listeners to keep going despite setbacks.

The message gives the track a wider meaning beyond entertainment, recognising people who continue working towards a better life even when circumstances are difficult.
With the official video now out, fans can experience the collaboration in a new format as the two artists bring the song to a wider audience.
The release also adds to Toxic Lyrikali’s recent run of collaborations and music releases, while giving Zzero Sufuri another opportunity to connect with listeners through a song built around resilience and hope.
