2 Injured As Tear Gas Cannister Explodes At Kitengela Police Station

Two remandees were on Monday injured after a tear gas canister exploded at the Kitengela Police Station in Kajiado County.

The explosion occurred as officers on duty during the day were handing over to their night-shift colleagues.

The officers were conducting a routine physical count of the canisters when one of the tins said to have been faulty fell and went off.

Isinya Sub-county police commander Patrick Manyasi told Citizen Digital that the two remandes were rushed to the hospital, treated and were in stable condition.
