Two suspects, a man and a woman, are on the run after allegedly killing their employer in Milimani Estate, Kisumu county.
According to Kisumu Central Cub-county Deputy Police Commander Jackton Mango, the suspects first tied both the legs and hands of their employer – a 75-year-old Indian woman- before taking away her life by strangulation.
Her body was recovered in her bedroom bearing strangulation marks.
The police boss says authorities have since launched a manhunt for the suspects adding that they are yet to establish the motive behind their action.
“We are tracing the two who had been employed in the home. They are the main culprits in this heinous act,” Mango stated.
Mango further noted the duo committed the heinous act after sending the security guard manning the house to buy groceries.
