Police in Kiambu County have arrested a 23-year-old man accused of killing his son after a marital dispute with his partner.

Evans Kimande allegedly strangled the one-year-old child at their home in Kangoya village following an argument with his 35-year-old wife.

Kiambu Police Commander Mohamed Badel stated that the village elder from Nyumba Kumi reported the incident to the police. Kimande is said to have waited for his wife to leave for work before committing the act. He is scheduled to appear in court.
