4 EPL matches we could see shock results this weekend

This could be a very interesting weekend in the Premier League.

Of course, the pick of this Match Day, is Manchester City hosting Liverpool on Sunday.

The Reds could go into that game five points clear if Arsenal beat West Ham the day before.

On the same Saturday, Manchester United face a tricky trip to Everton.

So, what four matches are we likely to see upsets?

1. Everton vs Man Utd: Again, this is an unlikely relegation six-pointer we didn’t expect to see in February. United’s 1-0 defeat at Tottenham last weekend, saw them drop into 15th place, one place below Everton. If they lose to David Moyes’ in Saturday’s early kick-off, the Red Devils will be in a lot of trouble as the games thin out this season.

2. Arsenal vs West Ham: Mikel Arteta’s men are condemned to win against West Ham at the Emirates. A draw will not be enough for Arsenal, if they want to stay close to Liverpool in the title race. However, this is one of the games the Gunners lost last season that cost them. Even without a recognised striker, Arsenal need to find a way to claim maximum points.

3. Aston Villa vs Chelsea: This will be the second successive big game for Aston Villa at home this weekend. They were unlucky not to come away with a victory against Liverpool on Wednesday. But this weekend, they welcome an out-of-sorts Chelsea and will be eager to climb up into the European spots with a win.

4. Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest: Last weekend, Newcastle United were comprehensively beaten at Man City. Omar Marmoush announced himself to the Premier League with a first-half hat-trick that effectively ended the game as a contest. The Magpies will be looking to bounce back from that loss. But the visitors this Sunday will Nottinghak Forest, who firmly in the race to finish in the Champions League spots in May.
