“The exhibits recovered from the scene have been secured pending further action,” read the statement in part.

Eight people of interest were apprehended at the scene, while two others escaped. Police have launched a manhunt for the fugitives, who are believed to be key figures in the racket.

According to NPS, the operation is part of ongoing efforts to disrupt technology-driven and digital fraud schemes nationwide.
