Mungai Eve is done keeping quiet. The popular Kenyan content creator and influencer went public on her Instagram Stories after yet another man sent her unwanted messages, and she made it very clear that she is not afraid to expose whoever crosses the line.
In her post, Mungai shared a screenshot of a message request she had received, using it as a warning to anyone else thinking of doing the same.
She did not hold back, telling her followers that anyone who comes to her DMs with nonsense risks ending up on her page for the world to see.
Mungai Eve warns she has had enough
“Another one who’s really bothered about my life, btw before you come to my DMs with nonsense, just know you might end up here. I said the other day I am tired of blocking; I have blocked close to a thousand people so far; I need a break!” she wrote in the caption accompanying the post.
The screenshot she shared showed a message from a man, and his messages to her ranged from a condescending comment questioning when she would leave the spotlight to one complimenting her lifestyle and asking for “clues” on how she lives so lavishly.
The contrast between the two messages struck many as contradictory and odd.
This is not the first time Mungai has taken a stand on this issue.
She previously threatened to leak messages from men sending her inappropriate content in her DMs, warning at the time that she would not stay silent about the harassment she regularly receives online.
Mungai Eve makes her stance clear
By going public again, Mungai has made it obvious that she intends to follow through on that promise.
Rather than quietly blocking and moving on, she is now choosing to shine a light on the behaviour, turning her Stories into something of a public notice board for men who think her inbox is fair game.
The influencer’s decision to post the screenshot rather than simply delete the request signals a shift in how she plans to handle the constant stream of unwanted messages.
With nearly a thousand blocks already behind her, she appears to have decided that enough is enough.
