Workers and members of the public in the United Arab Emirates can now formally report 11 categories of labour violations to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), ranging from forced labour and sexual harassment to unpaid end-of-service benefits and excessive overtime.
The ministry confirmed that when a dispute between an employer and a worker cannot be resolved through mutual agreement, a formal labour complaint can be registered through MOHRE’s official channels, triggering a structured review process.
The ministry noted that its community reporting service is designed to allow members of the public to flag unlawful practices at workplaces, to strengthen oversight and to improve compliance across the labour market.
How to file a complaint with UAE Workers and residents have three channels through which complaints can be submitted: the MOHRE UAE app, the ministry’s official website at www.mohre.gov.ae, or the Labour Claims and Advisory Centre via the toll-free number 80084.
