Barcelona captain Raphinha has equalled a record that only club legend Lionel Messi has achieved in the past.
The Brazil international scored in the 50th minute against Valencia in LaLiga on Sunday as Barcelona won 5-0.
Raphinha’s goal against Valencia was his sixth of the campaign after four games, and only Messi has achieved that feat in LaLiga this century.
Messi still holds the edge for now, having achieved the feat in back-to-back seasons (2012–13 and 2013–14).
Raphinha will now hope to lead Barcelona to victory when they face Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
