Diamond Platnumz is pulling out all the stops for his daughter’s 40-day Maulid celebration, and he made it very clear that this is not the kind of event you can show up to unprepared.
The Tanzanian music heavyweight took to Instagram on September 12, 2026, to invite family, friends and media to the milestone celebration for his daughter with fellow WCB artist Zuchu.
Signing off the post as “Baba ake na mtoto” meaning “Her father and child”, Diamond shared a detailed set of guidelines for the event, making clear that organisation and respect for tradition were non-negotiable on the day.

Writing in Swahili, Diamond thanked everyone who had stood by him and Zuchu during this special chapter.
He then outlined exactly how the day would unfold. The red carpet was set to kick off at 3:00 PM, with the main event beginning at 3:30 PM. Guests were asked to arrive early, as the occasion revolves around a young child.
The dress code was firmly Arabic for all guests in attendance. Those without the official outfit were told to wear anything that fits the theme, as long as it leans Arabic.
Members of the press were given their own directive: full black attire plus a valid media identification card from their respective outlets.
Diamond did not mince words about the consequences of ignoring these instructions.
“Tafadhali, Tujitahidi kufika Mapema na Kuzingatia hayo ili kufanya jambo letu liende vizuri zaidi,” he wrote, adding that failure to comply would result in being denied entry regardless of whether a person held an invitation card.
