Annrita Kiriamiti, daughter of legendary Kenyan author John Kiriamiti, has given her family a milestone worth celebrating after graduating top of her class at United States International University-Africa.

The proud graduate completed her studies with a Magna Laude distinction, a remarkable academic achievement that made her the first university graduate in her immediate family.

In a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, September 30, Kiriamiti, best known for his iconic autobiography My Life in Crime, was visibly overjoyed throughout the occasion.

Dressed for the event, the celebrated author wrapped his arms around Annrita multiple times as the pair posed for photos, his wide smile capturing a father’s pure delight.

Kiriamiti’s wife was equally emotional, pulling her daughter into a long, heartfelt embrace that drew plenty of attention online.
