A Nigerian hairstylist based in Leeds has praised her younger sister for caring for their salon in Nigeria during her four years abroad.

The woman, who posts on TikTok as @hairstylistinleeds, shared a video showing the salon after returning to see it. She said the space looked even more beautiful than when she left.

Her sister kept the business going

The hairstylist said she had asked her sister to look after the salon before relocating to the UK. She was surprised and moved by the care her sister had put into the business in her absence.

“When I left Nigeria 4 years ago, I asked my little sister to help me look after my salon. Fast forward to today, and I’m so amazed to see that the salon looks even more beautiful than the way I left it,” she wrote.

She thanked her sister for her commitment, saying her efforts had helped keep the business — and the dream behind it — alive.

“Thank you for taking care of my business, putting in the work, and keeping my dream alive in my absence,” she added, expressing pride and gratitude.

A tribute that resonated online

The hairstylist’s post also included a prayer for her sister, asking God to bless and reward her for everything she had done.
