Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo’s message about Nigerian preacher Apostle Joshua Selman has resurfaced after Chivayo and his wife died in a helicopter crash.
Chivayo shared the post on Instagram after meeting Selman at a House of Treasures Church Conference.
Chivayo reflected on his ambitions
In his message, Chivayo called meeting Selman a “great honour and privilege” and praised the preacher’s teachings and wisdom.
He also wrote about his ambition to become a “MULTI-BILLIONAIRE” and build businesses across Africa and beyond.
Chivayo said wealth, intelligence and hard work alone would not be enough for the path ahead. He added that he needed prayers for “protection, favour and divine direction” for himself and his family.
He described the meeting as spiritually refreshing and said it had strengthened his resolve to keep working while placing God at the centre of his life.
Crash investigation under way
Chivayo and his wife, Lucy Muteke, died when their helicopter crashed in Marondera, Zimbabwe, on 30 September 2026. Other occupants also died, and authorities have opened an investigation.
The post has attracted renewed attention because of its timing. However, there is no evidence in the report that Chivayo knew the crash was imminent.
