Relationship expert and media personality Getrude Mungai also welcomed Trisha to the show, describing her arrival as a new chapter for the programme.
“Hello Mr Right Kenya Season 5 is here! I’m so excited to welcome Trisha Khalid as the new host of the show. Trisha, karibu sana to the Hello Mr Right family,” Gertrude said.

She added that the new season would bring “fresh energy, new chemistry, real conversations and plenty of surprises”. Her remarks point to a change in the show’s hosting line-up as it enters its fifth season.
What is Hello Mr Right?
Hello Mr Right is a Kenyan relationship reality show centred on singles looking for love and compatibility. The programme brings together contestants as they navigate conversations, dates and different relationship situations while looking for a potential partner.
Beyond romance, the show has also become a platform for conversations around dating, relationships, communication and what people expect from a partner. The programme’s format has allowed different personalities to take on hosting and co-hosting roles over its previous seasons.

A look at the previous hosts
Before Trisha joined the line-up, Hello Mr Right has featured different presenters and relationship personalities who helped shape the show’s previous seasons.
Diana Bahati has been one of the familiar faces associated with the programme, bringing her experience in relationships and family matters to conversations with contestants.
Dr Ofweneke has also remained a central figure on the show, using his experience as a television host and entertainer to guide conversations and interact with participants.
The programme’s previous seasons have therefore relied on a combination of entertainment, relationship conversations and the personalities of its hosts to keep the format moving.

Trisha brings a new chapter
Trisha is now stepping into the role alongside Dr Ofweneke, bringing her own experience in entertainment, modelling and acting to the programme.
Her appointment also marks another television opportunity for the actress, who has built a following through her work in the entertainment industry and online content.
With the new hosting partnership now confirmed, Season 5 will introduce viewers to a new on-screen dynamic between Trisha and Dr Ofweneke.
The show’s team has already teased “fresh energy” and “new chemistry”, setting the stage for another season focused on love, dating and the unexpected moments that come with putting relationships under the spotlight.
