‎President William Ruto’s daughter Charlene Chelagat Ruto is officially off the market, having wed Tanzanian tech entrepreneur Isaya Yunge in a glittering white wedding ceremony held on Friday, November 6, 2026, in Mwanza, Tanzania.

‎The outdoor celebration took place at the upscale Malaika Beach Hotel, the groom’s hometown venue.

White floral arches, a mirrored walkway, and an elegant altar bearing the Africa Inland Church Tanzania logo set the scene for the union of two families from either side of the border.

Charlene arrived on her father’s arm in a stunning white gown adorned with three-dimensional floral detailing, finished with a cathedral-length veil, gold-and-pearl earrings, and white heels.

‎Isaya complemented her in a sharp black wedding suit paired with a white shirt and a bold yellow patterned tie.

‎President Ruto personally walked his daughter down the aisle in a moment that drew wide attention.

Tanzanian Prime Minister Mwigulu Nchemba was among the high-profile dignitaries in attendance, with Kenyan guests reportedly flying in aboard a branded private jet.

What did Isaya Yunge’s father say after the wedding?

‎It was a post from Solomon Waigwa, Isaya’s adoptive father, that caught the most attention after the wedding. Writing from Mwanza, Waigwa shared several photos from the event alongside a heartfelt tribute to the newlyweds.

‎”God’s blessings are immeasurable, to Him be all glory and honor, great things He has done! Thankful for the gift of family, new seasons, and the greatest of these: Love! Congratulations to the newest couple in town, the Yunges, God bless you,” he wrote.

The white wedding follows the couple’s traditional Kalenjin engagement ceremony, known as Koito, which the Ruto family hosted in Narok County back in August 2026, roughly three months before the Tanzania celebration.
