Following rumours of a possible break-up with fiancé Blessing Lung’aho, Jackie Matubia recently took to TikTok to share some cryptic videos about their relationship.
In one of the videos, she lip-synced to a popular TikTok sound and asked herself about her relationship status with Blessing.
She responded with “Sina uhakika nayo”, which translates to “I’m not sure”.
She also posted another video that suggested she had gained some character development after falling in love with a man.
In this video, she talked about a mistake she had made and how she would never recover from it.
“Nilikuwa nafikirianga ni mimi pekee yangu naitwanga babyghurl na nikafanya makosa nikashika simu yake. (I always thought I was his only babygirl until I made a mistake and checked his phone…) Let me tell you Maina… I’ll never recover,” she said.
The couple started dating in February 2021 and just recently celebrated their second anniversary.
However, rumours have been circulating for the past two weeks that things are not going well between Jackie and Blessing.
The rumour escalated and the two were said to have put their joint content creation on YouTube on hold.
Jackie Matubia also ignored her second daughter’s father when he celebrated his birthday on 24 April 2023.
In what appears to be another low-key response to the claims, actress Jackie Matubia shunned the rumours with a photo caption on her Instagram Stories that told off her “miserable” haters.
“People want you to be miserable so badly….Nah, we are blessed over here! I pray you all find happiness so you won’t be so miserable!” she wrote.
In March 2023, the mother-of-two revealed in a Q&A on YouTube that she started dating her fiancé, Blessing Lung’aho, when she was in a relationship with another man, even though she had planned to end the relationship with him.
