Media personality Thomas Maghana, who is commonly known by his stage name Oga Obinna has reignited his beef with comedian Eric Omondi.
Ogbinna, a renowed radio presenter, claimed in a video that someone whom he did not name was sponsoring Omondi’s recent activism acts.
Obinna repeatedly referred to Omondi as a project.
“There is something that is happening. Omondi is a project. He is trying to do things like Raila Odinga but the only problem is that he is on his own,” Obinna said in the video.
Not done, Obinna suggested what Omondi is engaged in is ‘drama’, adding that he is passing the right message in the wrong format.
“He is trying to give people maize flour here and there, organize a little crowd to get an audience, carrying people’s CVs to the State House among other things. But there are just two options in Omondi’s story, he is either a project or he is doing money laundering or a thief.”
The former Kiss FM presenter claimed there is no way Omondi can get all the money to do the activism work on his own.
“The only way Eric can manage to pay for all those cinemas is one; he is a project, someone is funding him whether it’s Raila Odinga, President William Ruto, Wanjigi or whoever and two he is doing money laundering.”
He adds that someone cannot just dish out his or her hard earned money as Omondi is doing.
Omondi has severally been arrested in the recent past, in relation to demonstrations he has been holding in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) aimed at putting pressure on President William Ruto’s government to lower the cost of living.
Omondi has been charged in court in relation to these offences, and is currently out on bail.
