Napoli manager Rudi Garcia has boasted that the Serie A champions still have a potent attack despite losing their talismanic striker, Victor Osimhen, to injury.

Osimhen sustained a thigh injury on international duty with Nigeria last week and is expected to be sidelined for around a month.

The Partenopei defeated Hellas Verona 3-1 in his absence on Saturday.

Kvicha Kvaratskhelia (brace) and Hirving Lozano were the goal scorers for Napoli in the game.

Garcia said Napoli are lucky to have quality attackers.

“Jack’ (Raspadori) is good at tying the team together and gives us the opportunity to balance the midfield,” Garcia told DAZN.

“We are lucky to have Victor Osimhen, Raspadori, and Giovanni Simeone in this squad. It is better not to have any injuries, but I was calm because I know that we still have a lot of quality in the attack.”

Osimhen has scored six goals in 10 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season.
