South African socialite Zari Hassan and her longtime online adversary, Tanzanian-American blogger Mange Kimambi, accusations of bribery and betrayal have emerged involving Zari’s husband, Shakib Lutaya.
Zari, renowned for her outspoken nature and glamorous lifestyle, took to her Instagram stories to launch scathing allegations against Mange Kimambi, claiming that Mange had resorted to underhanded tactics to secure an interview with Shakib.
According to Zari’s accusations, Mange allegedly paid $1000 (Sh 146,500k) to Shakib in exchange for an interview about Zari.
Zari dubbed the move as an act of obsession and desperation.
Despite the monetary incentive, Zari asserted that Shakib failed to deliver the anticipated revelations during the interview.
In a mocking post aimed at Mange, Zari wrote, “Ooh simpendi (Ohh I don’t like her)! But you paid a whole $100 (Sh146,500k) to someone to give you ‘tea’ about me. Tell me you are my number one fan without telling me you’re so obsessed. So invested about my life. With that obsession, you can kill someone.”
Zari further ridiculed Mange’s efforts, highlighting that even after editing, the interview yielded no substantial information.
She cheekily suggested that Mange should use some of the money spent on the interview to send her roses instead.
“Here is the best part: even after editing, you came out with nothing. He couldn’t give you what you wanted. Baby, send me roses with some of that money.”
The revelation of Shakib’s involvement in Mange’s interview has stirred controversy, particularly in light of recent news surrounding the couple’s separation.
While Zari had previously attributed their split to mutual agreement due to irreconcilable differences, Shakib’s cooperation with Mange raises questions about the true nature of their relationship breakdown.
Zari, unapologetic in her transparency, had earlier disclosed the challenges in her marriage, citing significant issues as the catalyst for removing Shakib’s photos from her social media accounts.
“Shakib and I have had issues before. That is why, in November and December, I decided to delete his photos on my Instagram page. We had big issues, and it is not because I did the video that Shakib has left South Africa,” Zari said.
The anticipated interview, slated to be aired on Mange’s platform, marks a new chapter in the ongoing feud between Zari Hassan and Mange Kimambi.
