In response to concerns over potential Gen Z protests, the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) and anti-riot police have secured key installations in Eldoret, including the Eldoret International Airport and the Eldoret State Lodge.

KDF officers were stationed at the airport and the State Lodge, while heavily armed anti-riot police patrolled the streets and conducted operations from over 15 lorries and landrovers. Despite these precautions, Uasin Gishu Police Commander Benjamin Mwanthi reported no incidents of youth gatherings for protests, noting that security was normal and business continued as usual.

In addition, the county government has begun fencing off and repairing areas damaged in previous demonstrations, including the national library and the county court. Police have also set up roadblocks on all routes around Eldoret to ensure security.
