President William Ruto witnessed the swearing-in of new Cabinet Secretaries on Thursday in a ceremony held at State House, Nairobi. The event was attended by senior state officials and the families of the new CSs. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi were also present.
Interior and National Administration CS Kithure Kindiki was the first to take his oath of office, followed by Defence CS Soipan Tuya, John Mbadi (National Treasury), Justin Muturi (Public Service), and Aden Duale (Environment, Climate Change, and Forestry).
Lands CS Alice Wahome was next, followed by Julius Ogamba (Education), Davis Chirchir (Transport), and Rebecca Miano (Tourism and Wildlife).
President Ruto had gazetted their appointments on Wednesday after they were approved by the National Assembly.
