President William Ruto is set to begin his 3-day tour of the Kisii region today, Monday.
Local leaders have already set the ball rolling ahead of Ruto’s visit as Nyaribari Chache constituency MP Zaheer Jhanda held a meeting with over 10,000 women on Sunday.
Jhanda hailed the Head of State for incorporating the Kisii region into his Cabinet after appointing Julius Migos to the education ministry.
He added that the president’s visit will play a critical role in laying the fabric of unity, for all leaders from the region to rally behind Mr. Ruto and the residents to desist from being mobilized against supporting his agendas.
President Ruto is expected to launch a Ksh.3.4 billion modern ultra-cancer centre among other projects.
