Jeremiah Kioni: A good man has rested
On his part, Jubilee Deputy Party Leader Jeremiah Kioni eulogised Kiaraho as a good man who believed in giving Kenyans the best, with significant contributions in education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
“A good man has rested. I am deeply saddened by the passing of my friend, Hon. David Njuguna Kiaraho, MP for Ol Kalou Constituency. This is a profound loss, not only to those who knew him personally but also to the people he served with unwavering dedication.
“Having served alongside him in Parliament, one thing always stood out: Mhesh was a true fighter for equality. Whether it was in education, healthcare, or infrastructure, he firmly believed that every Kenyan deserved equal opportunity, regardless of background, tribe, or place of origin.
Itumbi reveals cause of death
Dennis Itumbi mourned the MP’s death as a terrible loss and prayed for his family as well as the people of Nyandarua County.
In his message, the Head of Presidential Special Projects & Creative Economy hinted at a brave battle with cancer as the cause of the lawmaker’s death.

“God rest Hon. Kiaraho. Cancer is such a cruel beast… Nyandarua has lost a solid man. He wasn’t loud and wasn’t all over the place, but when he spoke, it mattered. Every word was measured, every thought precise.
“You could tell he was built different… a quiet architect in his own right. A genuinely good man. May God comfort his family, and may the people of Nyandarua find strength in this loss. Rest well, mheshimiwa,” Itumbi mourned.
