Gospel singer Guardian Angel’s wife, Esther Musila, has encouraged women over the age of 40 to embrace ageing with confidence and pride, reminding them that growing older is a privilege rather than something to fear.
In a reflective post shared on Facebook on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Musila addressed women between the ages of 40 and 60 and beyond, noting that many are entering a new phase of life marked by visible physical changes such as wrinkles, grey hair, and weight fluctuations.
She pointed out that while these changes may feel unsettling to some, they are natural signs of a life fully lived.
“To all of my Female friends from 40 to 60 years and up… most of us are going through the next phase of our lives. We’re at that age where we see wrinkles, gray hair, and extra pounds,” she wrote.
Musila emphasised that women in this age group have already navigated significant life experiences, including running households, paying bills, and enduring moments of illness, grief, and personal challenges.
She described them as resilient individuals who have quietly carried immense grace and emerged stronger through every phase.
“We have run households, paid the bills, dealt with sickness, sadness, and everything else life has assigned us. We are survivors,” she added.

She further highlighted that these women embody strength, courage, and grace, likening them to timeless classics that grow more valuable with age.
According to Musila, even if their physical appearance may have changed over time, their bodies still carry the essence of their journeys, including their resilience, inner strength, and lived experiences.
“We are warriors in the quiet… we are Ladies…like a classic car or fine wine. Even if our bodies may not be what they once were, they carry our souls, our courage, and our strength,” she added.
The social media personality urged women not to feel ashamed of ageing, stressing that it is something many people never get the chance to experience.
She encouraged them to appreciate every moment of their lives and to celebrate their journeys rather than dwell on societal expectations of youth and beauty.
“We should never feel bad about getting older. It’s a privilege that is denied to so many. Enjoy every minute…I AM,” she added.
