Media personality Abel Mutua has set tongues wagging after getting candid about his marriage to Judy Nyawira during an appearance on the Obinna Show Live.

The Mkurugenzi YouTuber told the host that he and Judy share a connection so deep that imagining life without her is simply not something he can do.

Why are Abel Mutua and Judy Nyawira inseperable?

“We do have issues like any other couple, days when the other person bores you, but we are so in sync that the thought of life without each other is unfathomable. Now I even understand those people who say when one person dies in a couple, the other might die soon. I am so dependent on her even for the small things,” he said.

Abel revealed that he and Judy have been together for 17 years, a journey that has taken them through separation, professional demands and major life changes.

He noted that their jobs previously kept them apart for stretches of time, yet the relationship continued to grow stronger.

He pointed to the COVID-19 pandemic period as a turning point that brought the couple even closer.

For many households, the lockdown era was a pressure cooker, but for Abel and Judy, it appears to have been the glue.

“We have been together through thick and thin. We have been apart, noting that their jobs kept them apart in the past,” he said, reflecting on the different seasons of their union.

Beyond sharing his own story, Abel offered a practical takeaway for anyone looking to make their relationship last.

“Build with your partner; that helps a lot. For us, we have always had things that we are doing; building and thinking about the future together is key,” he said.

The message clearly struck a chord with many who watched or followed the conversation online.
